i was kinda lost... i mean, im still in the commitee??? been so long i didnt attend the meetings.
didnt even keep track of wats going on in gabungan.
well, i'll try to make it dis time then.
had a talk wif cikgu for awhile, glad dat he's doing fine and in good health.. alhamdullilah.

just came back frm leandra's place. watched american idol there, really disappointed dat one of the twins didnt get to go to hollywood. i mean, they both were quite good. one of them have great talent. but too bad, they didnt make it. well..maybe they weren't up to the judges' expectations/standards... *sigh*

im werkin later, but cant seem to get some sleep.. neither can leandra and the rest, who will be joining us tmro.
after work, im meetin them and we gonna haf our dinner first.
cant wait to jump in the pool!!! im sure everyone will haf a great time.

went to partyworld last sunday wif leandra and kc.
had a great time even though its only 3 of us.

on monday evening, she invited me again to her place.
as promised, i went there dis time. thks for the pizza my dear ;)
her mum and nanny were there too and i simply enjoyed their hospitality.
they r nice and friendly pple indeed. gave them an ice-cream treat in return. hehe..
i had so much fun, talkin craps, gossips, watched vcds... and somethin actually happened dat night. a miracle or maybe fate i shall say? i dunno.. but i wun forget the sweet moments. thks to her too for makin my day. i'd luv to go to her place again!

leandra invited me to her place. no special occassion, just chill there as she wanted to order pizza too... but i didnt make it cos i was bz shopping and watchin movie in town.. by the time i finished, i was too tired to go.

hhmm... i remember i had dis 'dear mr policeman' book during my primary skool days.
cant really recall wats the contents in it, but i really miss the skool days...
aniwae,i took a cab to work just now and had a chat wif the driver.
wah..dis apek wear a gucci spec!! hmm.. not bad hor.. got class!! haha..
he started talkin abt an incident dat took place y'day.
he said there were 6 police cars chasing after one man, who was drunk, at one of the coffeeshops at yishun.
and the pple who sat at the coffeeshop, mostly apeks, gave a big applause to the policemen who walked past them.
i asked the apek, " why the applause?"
he said,"6 police cars,more than 10 police officers, after 1 man?? its absurd!! pple were laughin at them!!"
ok..i haf no comments. maybe its a big case. who knows? wat do u think? ;)

niwayz, last nite went to haf dinner at railway tanjong pagar wif darlin.
then just chill out wif him somewhere in the central.
watched the american idol preview on Star World right after i reached hm..
really funny, but i kinda pity those who cried so hard when they didnt get in... some blamed the judges especially simon who always get 'whacked' by the contestants.
actually i like the way simon commented.. he's just being honest, but some pple just cant accept it. wat can i say? dats the way the competition works.
tonite, im gonna watch it on channel 5.. i really luv dis show!!

yeah..we got it!!! really proud of them.. they played really well. well done to all the players!!
too bad i didnt manage to catch the thrill and excitement at the kallang stadium.

anyway, its fine wif me cos i managed to watch it at werk and shared the excitement wif my koliks..

yesterday i was on mc.. had fever. stayed at home the whole day.
felt slightly better today, but still not fully recovered. hopefully i get well soon.

i really miss watchin it... and coming up soon, dis thurs, the next american idol. cant wait to watch!!
i've read in the papers, abt taufik. im really disappointed wif the way they wrote it. its not his fault... watever it is,i hope these issues wun pull him down.
i wonder will there be another s'pore idol dis year.. i hope they have another cos i wanna get a few of my talented frens to join. but frm my own opinion, i can see is dat its not really 100% based on talents. all have to depend on votes. frm the previous one, a few of those wif big talents, were out due to lack of votes. i hope if there is the next one dis yr, or next, pple will vote wisely and support talents.

Dikir Fever

honestly, i miss performin. of cos, i'll be lying if i say i had totally lost interest.
being part of the audience on the previous comp, i simply miss the excitement, the screamings, the loud applause , the past few years..
its different now.. i dunno why.
now less groups are performing. gals groups becoming lesser and lesser.
i miss watchin the old sri satria, srikandi purbawisesa, STJ and a few other gigantic groups.
i think i wun ever see them perform again cos most of them are married and have their own commitment.
however, these pple will always be remembered. especially by me. i wun forget them cos they r my inspiration.
i remember the only reason dat brought me to dikir world was when my bro got me to listen to the song performed by srikandi purbawisesa on one of the comps.. PBS if im not wrong.
i luv the song and the juara's voice. i can still remember clearly the lyrics and the song.

im back at work today..yeah, on sunday :(
but its fine cos i had my 2 days "rest" on fri and sat.
lets recall..

spent my friday nite wif these lovely pple..
i have my buddy lembu,mimi,my dear kak nana,hyperactive leandra,sweetie naodia,lovely kristie and great dancer,wyn.
supposed to go partyworld, but when we reached there, its so crowded and we gotta wait for quite sometime cos there were quite a number in the waiting list.
so leandra suggested to go to a new karaoke pub at orchard tower... its called CheckMate.
its a cool place..actually a pub,so we gotta sing openly.
its not too crowded..the only thing is that there's not much malay songs. but we certainly enjoyed ourselves there. i love it when sis duet wif me cos we will do the harmony...always!! i really love her voice.
someone frm the management approached me and gave me a big compliment when i sang "without you" by mariah...she thought i was frm a certain band.
i was so touched. hehehe..of cos,my sis is still the best. and leandra with her husky and unique voice, certainly rocks the pub too!!

we spent our time there till 1am. me and lembu was craving for our fav mee soto at the KTM @ tanjong pagar. its been quite sometime we didnt go there cos dats my fav eating place since last time. and now more and more pple went there cos there's sheesha too. so after karaoke, i drag all of them there.
leandra wanted to eat lontong, but too bad, there's no more. so she got soto instead, cos there's still the lontong rice.. the funny thing is dat, she asked, "wats dis called? lontong mee soto?" me and sis laughed like hell!!
then she said again, "nevermind, as long as i get my ketupat."
me and sis laughed out loud again!!!
and dis time, she's lost. khekehkeh..

after dat the four of us , me, leandra, kristie and wyn went to Hendrix (now the name changed to Queens I think). we got beverly to join us there. my, dis gal lost so much weight!!!
sis dun wanna go cos she's tired. and lembu dun wanna go clubbin so he joined his frens at tanjung rhu.
had so much fun there and we played so many games!!! my stomach almost got burst wif the never ending jokes and craps frm each of us. not forgettin, we did enjoyed ourselves on the dancefloor too. overall, the nite was full of laughter!!! it was really happening!! we were there till 5am. i wish my darlin naz was there. too bad he was too tired. so he didnt join us.

actually wanted to book shangrila resort @ rasa sentosa...cos i miss my previous stay there when my company organised team building the last time. all of us stayed overnite for free.
i simply love the resort!!! and i have corporate discount for dat too!
but too bad, it'll be quite far for some of us..and some prefer the city area. more convenient for everyone. anyway, it doesnt matter cos anythin is fine for me.

i was really sad to see her go.. she'll only be back in dec. its like nearly a year.
ok, so i was the only 'cry baby' last nite. i dunno why i cant controlled my tears.
it just kept dropping. not trying to make my buddy felt touched, but seriously, i wish she dun have to go. wats wif the education here? but anyway,i know its the best for her. kata org, cari ilmu biar sampai ke negeri cina.
went to her place last nite wif sis and wan then to the airport together wif her.

she will return, yup i know dat. we r just too close. like blood sisters. felt diff when she's not around.
maybe its just me. i cry easily. get too emotional. sensitive. ok, haf to admit. dats me.

today i stayed at home the whole day...at last!!! had enuff rest and sleep.
last nite was a great nite out for me..taufik managed to join us at hard rock.
he came wif his bestfren..
luckily leandra arrived as early as 9.30pm to reserve the table for us. thank u my dear fren ;)
i reached there at abt 10pm...
as usual, its kumar's nite, and the place's definitely filled wif laughter.
im really glad taufik came cos i havent seen him for quite sometime. he looked really tired cos he was frm werk. well...same goes for me. so i told him not to complain so much..hehe..
me and leandra did sumthin bad thou...we let taufik and his bestfren stand in the crowd b4 we let them join our table...haha...v bad. and dats leandra's idea.. after 5 mins, then i called him to join us.. hkehkehe.. he thought we didnt reserve the seats for him. haha..
didnt take any shots wif him cos he left slightly earlier than us. but we the mentel gals, didnt miss the photo takin session.. hehe..

im really sad she's leaving...really sad. i cant say much....i hope i wun cry so hard when i send her off at the airport tomoro. hope so.

yesterday went to dk comp, Gempak Dikir 04 @ clementi cc.
kinda shocked wif the results, not becos anakseni didnt win anythin, but surprised to few of those...after watchin their performance. wateva it is, da rezeki dorang. alhamdullilah ;)
anyway, its finally over.
as for anak seni, they will always be the best in my eyes...its a gd performance despite the last min work. good try and exposure for the new ones too. good job!! im proud of them cos they r one of those who have their own ideas,creativity and originality. best of all, not being "spoonfeed". its ok guys, there's always ups and downs... SeRenTak, SeHaLuAn..

as for rajis, he did a good job. dats really a good performance. frm my own opinion, i dun think the song really suits his voice. but still, he did it perfectly. good job my fren.

Cheekys Chicks

last nite leandra asked me out...to cheeky monkeys @ mohd sultan.
at first i didnt wanna go cos i dun really like the place and i dun feel like going to any clubs.
but since dis fren of mine kinda felt a little down and need my company,i decided to go and cheer her up a little.

got lembu to join us as well. so the 3 of us went there,but we had light dinner first at the coffeeshop opp cheekys. luckily i tapao my salmon sandwich frm delifrance. nice!!!! else,nothin to eat cos no muslim food available.
at first there were quite a number of us...wan was also there,christopher aka christypoo,the twins and denish.
but they didnt join us to cheekys. wan had a meeting wif his band members whereas the rest wanna watch movie. end up, only the 3 of us.

had so much fun though,cos leandra is simply the super hyperactive type. really happy lembu joined us. bukan senang nak ajak budak ni gi club ;)

but im sure most of us know how the media/publishers works.. they'll definitely fit in any "hot" stories they knew or heard. but for sure,not all are true. they like to exaggerate...dats wat we readers luv to read. isnt it? ;)
i told leandra to forget abt it..but she told me she wanna approach these pple. didnt ask her much of wat she gonna do abt it.
sometimes we cant blame the media... let them say or write wat they want. its their cup of tea.

disappointed

i hate myself for this..
been late for work for 3 days,including today.
and 3 days straight i've been takin cab to work. spent nearly 60 bux in total.
i really hate myself..cos i guess im so used to afternoon and nite shift. so find it hard to wake up early dis time. worst still, dis whole week im werkin morning shift. anyway, no more niteshift since last mth. all back just like the old times,only morn and aftn shift. but most of the time, i was on aftn shift. so im not dat used to morn shift for now, but still, i gotta adapt to it. no choice. cant stay out late for now. gotta discipline myself and focus on my work now. so far,im glad..no warning letter rcvd after 5 yrs in starhub.. i dun wanna take any advantage here. i've clean record so far but im worried, cos punctuality is impt. and its only the beginning of the yr. argh!! wat am i doing???? i truly sux...i let my teamleader down cos he always has faith in me. my appraisal sure gonna be bad dis time. who's fault? who else? my god damn fault!! i promise to myself, frm now onwards, i wun be late again. yup, i wun.

ok enuff abt dis...dun wanna say much cos action speaks louder than words.

tsunami outbreak

y'day stayed at home the whole day...didnt go out. just lazed around and watched tv.
almost the whole day i watched the CNA channel.
really sad abt the tsunami outbreak...a tremendous, unexpected, sudden disaster.
i was so worried abt my supervisor, who actually spent 2 weeks at Phuket.
luckily he's back now, safe and sound.. he actually returned on the day of the outbreak..oh my! he's damn lucky.
i cant help it, cant stop my tears...i really felt sad, shocked, and truly sympathise for those who actually lost their loved ones/families..
can see frm the news how hard it is for them to accept the fact dat many had died..
and the babies,kids, who lost their lives,not forgettin those who actually lost both their parent.
frm here...we can see, no man can fight or stop the disaster.
i hope it wun happen again, but who knows?? God's will, no one can stop.
just have to pray hard. and im glad many countries actually helped out..
donations,pple who volunteered to help and even go there themselves to clear the bodies,and those who actually supplied food for these helpless pple who nearly died of starvation....god bless them.
yes,we can do our part too...the least is to donate.
im proud dat we s'poreans actually lend a helping hand and reached million sum of donations.
hopefully those missing ones will be found soon..really sympathise to the affected families....its really hard for them to move on, and right now, some are running to nowhere...they can only pray. truly helpless cos nothing can stop dis...
just imagine if we r in their shoe....helpless, sad, shocked..its like the end of the world. kuasa allah.
and the bodies...its like most of them struggled damn hard till their very last breath. all the bodies are bloated. its really sad. we can never guess wat will happen next.
a lesson for me,for everyone...treasure and appreciate wat we have now and our life too. who knows? anything can happen,in a sec,today,tmoro,anytime.

new year eve..

after wat happened, the tsunami outbreak, i decided not to go for any countdown or celebrate the new year. yup, i didnt go to any clubs or party.
for those who know me pretty well... surprised right?
yeah... its not dat im scared or worried of worst dat might happened here. not being paranoid either. just dat i really felt sad..especially to those s'poreans who lost their lives there, and some families still searchin for the missing ones... i am glad some countries actually cancelled all the countdown parties. its really a big tragedy.
so i just chill wif darlin at WTC ,just drive around the city area and had dinner.

me and kak ju actually organised it to gather everyone back since some of us didnt get to mit after perdana. not so much for the celebration. perdana pun da lama da lepas..but just to gather everyone.

gonna miss my darlin cos he's in camp right now,doing his reservist for 3 days.

and yeah....my resolution for dis year?
hhmm...lots of them, but the main one, is to lose weight and get a driving license (bila nak pass pun tak tau).hopefully soon..
